a nice one bedroom free parking

The communication with the host was not good. Even though I had planned to arrive after check in time which is 3pm, I still did not have my check in instructions by 8pm. The property states free parking, yet there are only 2 hour free parking availability with signs posted. The apartment was up 3 flights of narrow stairs which is not in the listing. The apartment smelled musty. I turned on the AC in the window and it did not work. The lights in every room had at least 1 or 2 out. I stayed enough to go to the bathroom, saw these conditions and left. I ended up renting a hotel room and calling VRBO and filing a complaint. The host texted me at 7:30 am asking what time I was checking out, although check out was 10am. He stated I did not lock the door, but I did. The door is code protected which I pressed the padlock on the code box which turned red while turning the key and then double checked it was locked. I returned the keys to the lockbox outside and made sure the lock box was closed.
